Phillip Herrell

Phillip Herrell PT

Phil has over 20 years of clinical orthopedic physical therapy experience and is co-owner of Physical Therapy Plus - Henry County.Phil earned his Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Kentucky in 1995. Phil grew up in Henry County and is very involved in the community. One of Phil's lifelong goals was to return to Henry County after completing his physical therapy education and open a private practice that would provide convenient, high-quality physical therapy to the community. Phil has a love for high school athletics and provides coverage for several teams at Eminence High School in Henry County. Phil has many areas of interest that he specializes in such as orthopedic and neurological disorders, manual therapy, dry needling for pain, sports medicine, concussion management, and sports performance training. Phil is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Kentucky Physical Therapy Association. He is an alumnus of Eminence Independent School. George Tate

George Tate PT, DPT

George earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from Bellarmine University in 2018. George is currently obtaining his certification in Manual Therapy and preparing to sit for his Orthopedic Specialty Examination awarded by the American Physical Therapy Association. George is also an adjunct professor of physical therapy at Bellarmine University where he assists in teaching courses related to the evaluation and treatment of extremity and spinal conditions. George is an avid golfer and played collegiate golf at Southern Illinois University. George's main areas of interest are orthopedics, manual therapy, dry needling, and working with golfers. George also hosts a Podcast called "The Physical Therapy Quest."" Marcia Boyce

Marcia Boyce PT

Marcia has over 25 years of clinical orthopedic physical therapy experience and is co-owner of Physical Therapy Plus - Henry County. Initially earning her degree in Grand Valley State in Michigan, she has been a developer and owner in physical therapy out-patient private practices in Kentucky for 19 years. Her interest in active lifestyle and rehabilitation came through her years playing collegiate sports in volleyball and track &field. Marcia has an affinity for business development, operations implementation, and a passion for physical therapy. Marcia strongly advocates for the profession by serving on the Kentucky Physical Therapy Association socioeconomic committee and payment policy committee.  She loves education and learning as well as enjoys traveling and various warm weather outdoor activities with her three children and husband. David Boyce

David Boyce PT, EdD, OCS, ECS

David Boyce PT, EdD, OCS, ECS, has over 30 years of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience and is a co-owner of Physical Therapy Plus - Henry County. David graduated with his BS in Physical Therapy from Oakland University, MS in Orthopedic Physical Therapy/ Clinical Electrophysiology from the University of Kentucky, and his Ed.D from Spalding University. David is an Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy (17 years) at Bellarmine University where he teaches orthopedic physical therapy of the spine and extremities. David and his wife founded Physical Therapy Plus in 2001 and opened the Henry County Clinic in 2006. David is the author of the book "Orthopedic Physical Therapy Secrets."" and has published numerous research articles related to the field of orthopedic physical therapy. David is dual board certified in Orthopedic and Electrophysiologic physical therapy and is one of only a few physical therapists in Kentucky that are board certified to perform EMG/NCV (electromyography) studies.
